MISCELLANEOUS AMENITIES

Recreational and organized swimming is available at the Ned Baumer Aquatic Center located on the campus of Hourglass Field Community Park.

An off-leash dog park with a beautiful view of Rattlesnake Canyon is available on the campus of Maddox Neighborhood Park.

Meeting/function rooms with a full kitchen can be reserved at Mira Mesa Community Park, Hourglass Field Community Park and Lopez Ridge Neighborhood Park, inquire at the park office for details.

And, would you believe, there is a Pétanque Court and a Walk-In Sun Dial at Camino Ruiz Neighborhood Park. The best time to check out the Sun Dial is at sunset on June 21st and Dec. 21st to see the dial mark the Equinox. It’s a bit like watching paint dry but much more interesting and a lot of fun when a bunch of neighbors show up.
