Although 18 months late, the new Salk Park and upgraded Maddox Park are finally nearing completion. The expanded Maddox dog park, with separate areas for large and small dogs, appears to be finished, new shade structures have been placed over the Maddox play area, and new sod has been installed at Salk Park so the new field now has grass.

Salk Park has a new restroom open to both parks.

The expanded dog park has separate areas for small and large dogs and some new equipment for the dogs.

Grass was seeded and is now growing the the construction entry area by the dog park.

The park was originally planned to be finished in winter of 2024, and has been delayed by about 18 months to the frustration of residents, but it is now nearing completion.
