Salk/Maddox Park Nearing Completion
Although 18 months late, the new Salk Park and upgraded Maddox Park are finally nearing completion. The expanded Maddox dog park, with separate areas for large and small dogs, appears to be finished, new shade structures have been placed over the Maddox play area, and new sod has been installed at Salk Park so the new field now has grass. Mira Mesa Community Park Phase 2 Now in Progress
The Mira Mesa Community Park Phase 2 Improvements including the aquatic center and skate park were approved by the San Diego City Council on Monday, June 3, 2024 with a unanimous 9-0 vote.
