New Park Signs
At the April 10th MMRC meeting three new park entrance signs were on display and received great comments from those in attendance. The new signs have been installed at Sandburg and McAuliffe Parks. The illuminated reader board sign has been installed by the Black Mountain entrance to Hourglass Field Park. The new sign at Mesa Viking Park as well as the new bulletin board at Mira Mesa Community Park Phase 1 Addition should be installed within the next few weeks. Several other conceptual ideas...

Mira Mesa’s very own tennis instructor, Stan Jefferson, recently received awards from the Southern California Tennis Assoc. (SCTA) and the USPTA/San Diego Community Service award for 2017. Coach Stan Jefferson, USPTA Certified Pro, is an Elite teaching professional (1989-Current). Stan has been serving the Mira Mesa community at Hourglass Field Community Park for over 20 years.
